The baseball cap—an icon of the United States of America—is a popular site for political messages. In 2015, Donald Trump wore a baseball cap emblazoned with the slogan he also trademarked “Make America Great Again.” Like any good slogan, it is evocative and open to interpretation and rebuttal. This is a sample of some directly political responses from 2016 on.
